This site teaches a breathing practice. It is not medical care. Nothing here diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any disease. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified clinician. If you have a health concern, talk to your doctor.
Practice safely
The practice on this site involves slow breathing and holding your breath. That can make you lightheaded, sometimes without warning.
- Never practice while driving, operating machinery, or in or near water.
- Sit or lie down before you begin. Do not stand.
- If you feel dizzy, stop the hold. Breathe normally and stop for the day.
- Talk to your doctor first if you are pregnant, or if you have a cardiovascular condition, a respiratory condition, epilepsy, or high blood pressure.
- This practice is for adults. If you are under 18, use it only with a parent or guardian.
